030 - Clara - Big Sister Doll
PLEASE NOTE: Clara is available to purchase at Genevieve's Cafe, Pineham Village, Northampton. If you aren't local and would like to purchase her, please message me and I can post her to you
Clara loves cinnamon buns and foraging in the woods.
She has ‘natural’ skin tone and ‘caramel’ plush hair in low bunches with a sweeping fringe. Her hair is super soft and tactile; a wonderful sensory resource. She has a pretty face which has been embroidered by hand and she has blue eyes which coordinates with her top.
Clara is one of my favourite dolls to date! She has so many different textures. She wears frilly knickers and a floral jersey roll neck top under a removable linen skirt with braces. She wears a pink felt bow in her hair and frilly socks with blue plush shoes which are sewn on for safe play.
Packaged in an organza bag, Clara would make the perfect gift.

My Big Sister dolls are approximately 16” tall and are handmade in England from my own pattern. I specifically designed them with children’s development in mind. They provide opportunities for emotional expression, compassion, cognitive development, fine motor skills, social interactions and imaginative play.
All of my dolls are made from 100% cotton and the hair and shoes are made from Merino wool felt or cuddle soft plush. Their limbs were developed especially for little hands to hold. They are stuffed full of love and soft, hollow fibre filling, which makes them soft and huggable; just right for cuddling. But most importantly, they hold the CE and UKCA mark. The toy safety standard which makes them safe for babies and children from birth.
Each doll has a pretty face which I embroidered by hand. No two are alike and each one is unique and has their own personality. If you have more than one doll, their clothing can be removed and interchanged for lots of dress up fun. Or why not add a few garments to your dolly’s wardrobe?
